Stylesheet problems

This is my 3rd CMS MS site. This has never been a problem before but when I add a stylesheet and then link it to a template, it seems that CMS MS is adding a bunch of CSS to my page that isn't in my stylesheet. Viewing it with firebug, it seems to adding to my stylesheets and add more stylesheet item the or overriding my stylesheet. Does any one know what is going on?

Is there any formatting in the template? Is it the only stylesheet attached to the template?

Nope there in no "inline" styling. I downgraded from 1.6.6 to  1.6.4 and it fixed the problem. However still when I check it out in firebug, there is all kinds of styles attached to the page that aren't in my stylesheet. At least now my stylesheet is over-riding them. The main problem was it was overridding my h1, h2, h3 tags so I couldn't format them.
