index.php error Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

I get this message

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ',' or ';' in /customers/poultang.dk/poultang.dk/httpd.www/index.php on line 54

I am really blank - what can I do here?
