Restoring past content

Post by jchoward »

I am running CMS Version 1.5.2
This afternoon while making updates, more than half of the content on two different pages disappeared. I wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else, and if there is a way to restore past information.

Did you have a backup of the database? Do an import of the backup.

I have never made a backup of the database, and I don't really know a whole lot about it. I jumped onto this project after it had been going for awhile so I'm not very proficient with CMS. How might I make a backup to restore?

Are you asking how to backup? Do you have phpMyAdmin on your hosting?
