Email is invalid + Self Registration module

i have installed a self registration module which allow members to register before they login. the issue with this module is that it cannot allow members with email addresses such as .ac.ke,.co.ke e.t.c, it can only allow members with yahoo,gmail and hotmail accounts to register. when you register with .ac.ke or .co.ke it is returning an error "Email is Invalid" and therefore you cannot receive the confirmation email in your inbox.

Please, anybody with an assistance i would kindly appreciate.

I would file a bug report for this in the Developers Forge for this module. Until a new release is provided (could be awhile, the developer is quite busy) you could take a look at the source itself and try to modify it. If you can provide the developer with a good .diff file they may consider importing the changes for a new release.

I am having a problem even with valid gmail and .com email addresses. I keep getting the error:

Field Enter email address must be filled in

Any ideas. I have only changed front end code.

Since no one has provided any information about system/module versions, I doubt the developer is going to spend much time looking into this.

Please verify that you are running the latest/greatest production versions of each module (and the core), and post back if your issues continue.  Include your system information, as requested in the "Read This First" forum.

Yes, I still got this issue. The system I am using is as the following:
cmsmadesimple-1.7.1-base.tar.gz
SelfRegistration 1.4
FormBuilder 0.6.2

I finally figured out on my own. On the FEU management page, preferences, you have to uncheck Email address is username.
