Newb with a small problem

Post by kazaly »

Hi all, I'm new to cms but so far like it a lot.
I guess this will display my training wheels but I have a wee small problem.
Using ver 1.5.3
Attempting to modify CSS Layout: Top menu + 2 columns - for the most part successfully.
But when it comes to changing the colours of the top menu I cannot find them in the stylesheet.
Everything else seems to be there and accessible except for the menuwrapper.
I must be missing something but I'm damned if I know what.
Could someone give me a kick in the right direction?

User web developer toolbar and go thru all stylesheets linked to the template.

The menu has its own stylesheet. You can find in the menumanager which one is linked to your menu-template.

The navigation styling is placed in a different stylesheet.
Look at Layout >> Templates >> CSS (Attach Stylesheets) which stylesheet you use for your navigation.

Thanks for all your help gentlemen.
Found and fixed ... I told you my L plates were dangling ... doh!
Sorry Rolf, but I can't update my ver as it is held by our web host so it's really up to them.
I really like what I'm seeing with CMS so far though, great work.
Cheers to all and thanks again
