Can one publish protected content (for registered users)?

Hi, I wonder if there is any way to publish content intended to registered users. Also, can one define users "on mass" (where is the file of registered users be found?).

Take a look at the uploads module too, as you may need to offer uploaded documents with fudged urls to help prevent unauthorized downloading.
