well here goes

http://www.cosportsnet.com - Qwest has not updated DNS but the higher levels have, stupid dsl!

I'm no graphics artist - all that stuff escapes me, but I like what I've done.  Its a 3 column fluid layout (search 3col fluid layout holy grail - there are a few)  The system uses categorized news to manage articles about various sports, I'm just starting and only have 1 hockey team so far, trying to add local colleges & pro sports to the mix soon.

cms/ms 1.6.6
Album 0.9.3 (I prefer it to Gallery)
  Calendar (0.8.2)
  CGBlog 1.3.1 (may not use)
  CGFeedback 1.0.4
  CGSimpleSmarty 1.4.3
  customContent 1.5.3
Forum 0.9.2 (I had originally styled this, but lost the styling in moving to a live server)
FEU (1.6.10)((Customized the code to allow for css styling of the forms instead of input tag sizes))
  SelfReg
  NMS 2.2.3

1 self written module I call AdManager, similar in function to Banners which does the following:
create ad types (banner/square/column) and create different ads, flash, images, and gogle javascript.
create ad campaign types - define # of unique pageviews, impressions, or ad clicks & charge via paypal.
system rotates via a weighted random in MySQL among the active ads, depends on FEU so ad customers can log in and manage their ads and ad campaigns & subscribe for more.  it tracks the number of impressions, pageviews, and clicks with a stats page in the admin section.  1 cron job called monthly resets the monthly values and ads to YTD values.

Eventually I may release this module, but there is so much to do on it yet - the description above is very generous and includes features I will add, plus Banners is already there but it lacked some features I wanted.  I want to be able to offer ad space to local businesses, not just online ad providers.  I'm also considering the weighted random and having impressions reduce the weight of an ad to balance it more.

comments appreciated, criticism might be appreciated... :)

Well there are some thing to do:
resize vertical icons in the albums,
make forum table across all content area.

And i don't understand purpose of black menu. I found one working link.

Still i believe you would have much more fun if you did website according particular design.
