Pretty URL's

Post by jftaal »

Hi there,

I wanted pretty URL's so I looked and found! I installed it via .httacces file thing code.
and now it works! BUT the links that are imbedded in a template do not.

So links in a menu created bij cmsms doe show a pretty url
but links embedded in a template simply do not.

Is there a way to make them work as well. I looked in the forumm but I could not find it.

Thanks for the help!

Why not manually edit them?
You could also create redirects to the new URLs from the old but that's probably not the best solution.

What do you mean with manualy edit them?

You can see the problem on this page

http://www.desavorninlohmanplein.nl/winkels/

If you click one of the auto generated menu links. Then the pretty urls work.
But if you click one of the categories imagebottons on de center op the page.
they do not.

These imagebutton are content block with links in them. But then the pretty urls do not work.

How did you create the links in the global content block?
Are you using the 'Insert link to cmsms pge' tool in Tiny?

Check your settings under Extensions > TinyMCE WYSIWYG > Advanced
Particularly CMS-linker link-style.

Hope that helps.
