Hi...
I am rather perplexed.
My CMS (CMS Made Simple 1.6.5 ) was working perfectly (I installed it 2 weeks ago and only added 2 pages until today) and today, as I tried to copy one of my page, and just changing the text of the main paragraph, I had the Error 500.
[addcontent.php]
I tried different modifications and I managed to add up to half of the text without any problem.
Then I thought it was a problem of length, but I managed to add simple "aaa aaaaa aaaa aaa" after my text without errors, and whenever I was replacing them back to the simple work "from" I ended up having the error.
I even deleted the page and recreated one from scratch and the problem happened again.
I tried with a complete different text "Lorem Ipsum" (longer) and it worked...
I would maybe understand if I had any special characters in the text I try to add but there is nothing here...
Any slightest idea would be great!
Thanks.
Error 500: Internal Server Error when editing a page in CMS
Re: Error 500: Internal Server Error when editing a page in CMS
Thanks.
I tried and it didn't change anything.
But I tried something else.
I added the content in 3 different parts. And when I add the middle sentence in the middle I get the erros and when I put it at the end, it works...
So it's not the length, it's not the characters themselves..........
I still want to put the content in the right order.

Are you adding English text?
Re: Error 500: Internal Server Error when editing a page in CMS
Yes I am...
But I don't think there is any "smart" answer to this error.
I found a work around by adding some Between my different sentences even if I didn't want different paragraphe at the start and it worked.
But I'm still open to any suggestions regarding this issue as I am almost sure I'll meet it again soon.

If you want to find out, email me the text, or replicate the problem yourself with a subfolder installation or XAMPP.
Did you copy plain text, word formatted text, or html source?

I copied it from word, then from a text editing software, I even tried to type it directly in the CMS.
The weird thing is that it works in a certain order and not in an other.
I can send you the text if you want. Not sure you can replicate the problem though.
