connection refused

Hello,
After a long period of working on the site, we now get an error when we try to log in to our website.
this is the message we get
Database Connection Failed
Error: Access denied for user 'friendsi_joost'@'localhost' (using password: YES) (1045)
Function Performed: CONNECT
Host/DB: localhost/friendsi_cmsfid
Database Type: mysql

All was working perfect untill now.
I can't recall having done someting on the database that could have caused this problem
Maybe someonne has an idear how to solve this

+ Check that the details in your config.php file are correct for logging into your database?
+ Check that you can long into your database with some other program, with your config.php details?
