Looking good m8.

Like the fixed background.. Well balanced.

The site looks sweet on a resolution bigger than 1024x768.

I always make my websites for 1024x768.. Because many people and
businesses are still using 1024x768..  :-[

But again.. Well done

nice work mate .

but check your script in the header of the page, the code moving the text as I can only see some letters in the same place, and it is not readeble . " ...use a cms! "

nice design anyway :)

Yes very attractive design.

I second voxberry, I too have Firefox 3.5.3 on XP and it does this for me too.  IE 8 on the same machine is fine though.

Cheers

The copy (text) makes it sound as if CMSMS is your creation.  ("Our CMS" on the huge honking banner script, and again, "Our fantastic web site CMS" in the right sidebar.)  I guess that's okay if you are a CMSMS dev. Are you?  On your About page, it's more clear that you specialize in designing and developing CMS Made Simple Sites.

Notwithstanding that, the design and layout is very  nice.

When I am selling this I always make it clear to any clients that this is an open source system.

Well, the repeated use of "Our" throughout the front page and elsewhere simply does NOT make it clear; it should be clear on your web site as well, not just in conversations with your clients and potential clients.

If you are using ANY of my modules, please ensure that you are crediting CMS Made Simple on each and every admin page of each and every website that you are using my modules on.  I checked out the admin login, and I cannot see it.

Also pixelita is correct, the words you're using are a bit vague... though not explicitly breaking the rules, simply changing the wording from 'our cms' to 'the cms we use' or something would definitely make us all feel a bit better.

Hi Robert I have not removed any copyright notices it is clearly there on the admin page

"CMS Made Simple is free software released under the General Public Licence."

I also do not remove or edit any other copyright notices anywhere.

And unlike many sites I have seen built with CMS who I would be very surprised if they had paid the commercial licence fee I do not remove the copyright notice which is in the global metadata. Re Our CMS, point taken and I have changed it. I have also changed a paragraph to now read

"We have used this open source system for the smallest site right up to large scale enterprise websites and because it is open source it is supported and developed by a whole community, far larger than any single agency could hope to do."

I have absolutely no inclination or desire to pretend in anyway that I own or developed CMSms. I have a great deal of appreciation for those who did and I try and contribute back to the community when I have the time and am able to.

Looks fabu.  One small nit on the About page, first sentence, change "Systsems" to "Systems" and you're good to go.  And you should be getting some traffic to your site because I'm doing another showcase of CMSMS sites and I've picked quite a few from your portfolio. So ... batten down the hatches. :)

One thing I think is kind of neat is the way you kind of gave a silent nod to CMSMS by keeping their signature orange bar heading style in your design.  :)

Good work on the copy and on the site.
