Strange issues after server migration

Hello,

I am using CMS Made Simple 1.6.4 "Moindou" and am running on a Linux server using the latest of PHP (hosting with Godaddy).  I am having several issues with CMSMS after migrating the database to a new server.  I have attempted searching the forums for posts with like issues, but haven't been able to find a solution to my problem.

The Issue(s)

My first issue is that after having migrated, while editing a page, the "apply" button does not apply the changes, and the "preview" because of so will not work.  However, if I click on "submit" the changes will save, and can be previewed from the main file area.  The "apply" and "preview" from within the editor worked fine on the previous server, but since the migration does not work.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled CMSMS, but the issue remains.

The second issue I have is with the Photo Album module (Album 0.9.3) & a discussion board module (Forum 0.9.3).  These are both functioning, however, I am getting percentages appearing within messages when a new album is created or when a new discussion board topic is posted.  I am not sure what is causing this to appear...  Here is an example of what the message looks like:

regarding issue 1, did you clear the cache in Global Settings?

Thank you for the reply.  I have actually cleared out the cache in the global settings, but the problem still exists. Any ideas?

So somehow I am getting the %20 on every type of confirmation message within CMSMS (whether I submit the changes to a page or add a new photogallery).  Does anyone know what I need to edit in CMSMS templates to get it to add in the spaces instead of the %20?
