Hi,
I recently upgraded from CMS version 1.2.3 to version 1.6.5 ... I know, I'll keep my site up to date in future.
During the upgrade I read that I needed to check if any modules needed to be updated seperately, and since the upgrade some of the menus on my site don't work as they did before. My Extensions->Modules->MenuManager module is at version 1.6.2, but looking for this in CMS forge (http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/) the latest version listed is 1.4.1, from 2007. Is there somewhere else I should check for newer versions, or are these modules upgraded as part of the base CMSMS upgrade?

Where to check for latest module versions
Re: Where to check for latest module versions
Stephen,
MenuManager is indeed a part of the core-set.... This can be seen as well, as all core-modules are listed above-the-line in the backend. Additional installed modules show below the line, that is in the lower area of the pulldown menu.
In 1.7 it is foreseen to have an asterisk in Extensions->Modules where the core-modules have the asterisk set, to show that they are core...

Thanks.
I've since got my menus working again too.

Stephen,
were you having issues with MenuManager. I didnt read that in the first post. There is a topic in ProductSupport area in forum, a sticky, where the issue with the start_level="2" is addressed.
If your setup used that, you could find the fix there...
BTW, when navigating to Extensions -> ModuleManager you will find the first tab showing modules of which a newer XML-upgrade is available.
Be aware that only XML-releases are showing, so when developers dont create XML-versions, or when the XML is corrupt, then ModuleManager wont show this version in the listing.
