Site crash mysql

k running cmsms 1.5.4 carolina

just finished site, all hunky dorey, about to go see her and bill for it tomoro... and i get a text 'hi the site is down what's wrong?'

i go check in browser.... nightmare....

Database Connection Failed
Error: Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 111 (2013)
Function Performed: CONNECT
Host/DB: 79.99.43.21/o2oxygenc1
Database Type: mysql

Please can someone tell me what the problem is?

1.5.4 is not supported

please upgrade to 1.6.5, verify that your config file contains the correct database connection details, and post again if the issue continues.

Hi all,

After contact with our hosting support, this error already fixed. The thing happen is the host supplier change the DNS record of my website, so in the short time (about few hours) the ip config not point to correct database server. so that our site can not connect to our database.

First time, i think this error cause by cms, but now, it's clearly belong to our hosting support.
