Q: Best way to refresh interface after module install?

Hi,

I've built a couple modules based on Skeleton.  The add menu items to the Admin interface, but those menu items don't appear immediately after install.  A reload of the admin page is required for them to show up.  I could put some javascript into my install message to force the refresh, but I'm wondering, is there a more appropriate way to do this?

I've noticed that too, actually it's kindof a bug.  the interface doesn't refresh after a permissions change either.
