Apply and Preview do not show changes

Hello.

I'm a new user and trying to get my head around this product.  It looks to be a real winner, and I'm hoping it proves to be as good as it seems.

I'm trying to put content in a page in the admin, and when I click Apply and then reload the site, I don't see the changes.  The Preview doesn't show the current changes either.

However, if choose Submit, the changes do appear on the site.

Perhaps I have my server configuration wrong?  I'm editing as Admin, who has all the privs, so I doubt that is a problem.

Running CMS Made Simple 1.6.4 "Moindou",
  on apache version 2.2.11-2ubuntu
  php 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.6
  5.0.51a-3ubuntu5.4
  Ubuntu Linux 9.04

Any ideas?

I don't use Preview and Apply, only Submit and I have no install at hand right now to check. But in the past the preview stopped working (at least with multiple content blocks) and may be it still has issues (I've not tested).
Please use System Verification (checksums) to check your 1.6.4 install. If you can confirm and reproduce this, please file a bug report in the forge.

I will not likely use it either when I'm editing my own site.  But, for the current site I'm building, the users community will have a hard time with the system if they can't preview.  This is really a show stopper for us, so I'll do what I need to help you work it out.  Perhaps it is something wrong with my setup.  Perhaps we'll try another install and see if it has the same trouble.

For the checksum, clicked the button to get a checksum.dat file, then I uploaded that file, and it checks out fine.  Is that what I'm supposed to do?

I just tried Preview on a different page that has a table and a wrapping , and some news headlines at the bottom, all in only one {content} block, and it worked. 

I will keep an eye on it, an see if I can find a case in which it doesn't work, and report it.

Apply should work.

There were issues before, related to multiple content-blocks. You could try to open another session, and view the site there. Just hit the F5 after having applied in the maintain=session.
