Parent Dropdown - Please Help

Post by katea »

Hi guys,

Right now, under the parent dropdown, it lists the title of the page and not the actual page name I want.

This of course makes for a veeeeeeeeeery long dropdown if I put a long title in the page ....

If my page name is Photos, I'd ideally like the parent dropdown to say Photos and not  'Here are a few pictures that I've taken from around the World' which is what I have as the title ...

This is ok if I have a few pages and I know what I'm doing, but I'm sure it would make more sense to have the Page name and not the page title in the parent dropdown.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Thanks

Hi,

Each page has a title and a menu text attribute. The menu uses the menu text to fill. So you can use two different names. Use title for the long name you're describing. Use menu text to just say 'Photos'.

If this isn't the answer you're looking for, please be a bit more specific where the problem occurs. Which module, or show an example page.

Best regards
