RSS2HTML inserts \ in template

Post by raymondo »

Hi

RSS2HTML has started escaping quotes with \ whenever I save templates.  For example what started out as...

Home

will end up as...

Home

after the first save and...

Home

after the second save.

Unfortunately this breaks the links.  The only cure is to not use the quotes but that is not good html as I understand it.

I'm guessing this is something to do with incompatability with CMSMS updates that I have installed but is there anything I can do about it?

Ray

Re: RSS2HTML inserts \ in template

Hi,

I'm still having this problem.

I have noticed that it also affects any module templates that are saved to the database, so the News module is affected too.

I have upgraded to the latest release of cmsms CMS Made Simple 1.6.5 "Poya" but I am still getting the problem.

Does anyone else see this problem?

Any ideas where I should look for a solution?

Thanks,

Ray
