news articles don't show up after submit [solved]

Hi,

Version 1.6.4 of cmsms, a published news article with exiration date, don't show up after submission. All dates are set correctly, cleared the cache, but the don't show up. Anyone who recognizes this problem? Any idea on how to solve it?

I have faced something similar. New news doesn't show up where they should be. One way i can make them to show up is to overwrite old one and change the date, other is to search it's title.
I have 301 (published 291) news and it takes just 1.2 MB in DB.

Cms Version: 1.6.3 mle
News: 2.10.2
phpversion: 5.2.6
MySQL: 5.0.67

At first sight it looks mysql query ($query2) doesn't work as expected. I am planing to debug it tonight.

could you PM me some login-details... I can check from the backend then if I see anything odd in News, or its calling....

seems like a little timing-issue... Posting an entry on your site, with NOW as the start-date does indeed make it not appear... Making the starttime 1 or 2 hours before NOW, makes it appear.. So something is playing with the timing....

ok, this explains the situation. I've asked the provider to set the date and time.
