500 error when accessing admin

so any time i try to access the admin I get:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@theoutline.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I had the version one older and it was doing it so I figured I would upgrade. Everything went perfect in the upgrade and when I went to admin, surely enough I got the exact same error message.

Any ideas?

There is nothing CMSms specific in your post. Nobody here can help you.
Hopefully the logS will give a clue.
