Hi,
I get this error whenever i try installing CGExtension 1.71.2 from an archive.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /homepages/41/d206497267/htdocs/MyNutraPack/temp1/modules/CGExtensions/CGExtensions.module.php on line 47
can anyone please help me? I'm trying to install a payment gateway.

what version of cmsms are you running?
did you try installing from module manager?

i'm running cmsms 1.6.4 on a Apache php v5 server.
i did try installing from module manager and recieved this error.
Error 500 - Internal server error
An internal server error has occured!

Not much to go off of...

Same problem here, running CMSMS 1.6.3.
Did you find out what the problem is? I want use the CGFeedMaker module (To add RSS to my News module page), but this depends on CGExtensions.

Upgrading to 1.6.5 did not make a difference.
Could this be a problem with the PHP version? My hosting provider has PHP 4.4.9 installed. There is no way I know of for me to get PHP 5.x installed

Ok, so it turns out there was a way to get PHP 5 working after all. This did indeed solve the problem.
