redirecting to root

Post by larsmw »

Hey There!
I have installed 1.6.4 on my localhost and haved used it without problems(I think ;)) But when I install it on my american server and try to add a new template I get redirected to the webroot!

On the server I have installed the cms at www.example.com/cmsms

Can you point out where I shall look for errors?

Regards

Make sure that the root URL in your config.php file points to www.example.com/cmsms and that all other paths in the config file are pointing to your server and not your localhost.

the line "$config['root_url'] =  ..." in config.php is pointing to the right place.
the problem is still there.

Hello again,
larsmw wrote: try to add a new template...
If you can reach the admin back end you should at least use System Info to get and give informations.
And System Verification may be good too.
And monitoring http logS also...
You can add informations about your hosting context and so.
This is what forum rules are about.

Double check your paths parameters.
