Site for Danish Shopping Mall

Post by webform »

Just finished (more or less) a new website for a Danish Shopping Mall: http://www.ishoej-bycenter.dk/

Modules used:
Newsletter Made Simple.

Company Directory with User Defined Tags to customize the shops list view into 3 columns on two pages with shops listed either alphabetic or by category (Shops = Butikker in the menu).

News module placed on 3 different pages where each page call it's own category; Competitions, upcoming activities and vacant jobs in the mall. Also with customized summary template so if the end time is reached and no new articles available displays a message. See how here: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,14885.0.html

Page design is by The shopping malls Ad agency, but i more or less could adapt the CMSMS default layout.

Glad to hear that it was design by shopping malls Ad agency. Can you share me what is that CMSMS default layout?
Sorry for the late reply - I've forgot to check the "Notify me of replies" option!  :-[

I think it was the "Top simple navigation + left subnavigation + 1 column" template i've customized to look like the layout from the ad agency. I've inserted an ekstra div area at the bottom to hold the bottom menu - It's actually a duplicate of the top menu!
What are the items that can be bought in that shopping mall.,?
Everything!!!!! The mall contains nearly 60 shops ranging from 7Eleven, cinema, pharmacy, shoes, jewellery, food, restaurants etc.
The site sounds great and it seems you prepared the ecommerce portion really well. Good job.
Thank you! The biggest challange was the User Defined Tags to customize the Company Directory, so the output matched the way the mall and add agency wanted the shop directory listed.

Since then i've learned a lot more, and wish i could go back and redo especially the css.
