php header error messages after uninstalling modules

Post by Kami »

Hello,

After installing and uninstalling a few modules, I keep getting "error" messages on top of the CMSMS admin section and my site pages.

How do I get rid of them ? Do I have to reinstall the entire CMSMS program ?

Error messages:

1) ERROR: The CGExtensions module could not be found.

2) Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\xampp\htdocs\cms\modules\Cart\Cart.module.php:34) in C:\xampp\htdocs\cms\index.php on line 328

3) Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\xampp\htdocs\cms\modules\Ballots\Ballots.module.php:40) in C:\xampp\htdocs\cms\lib\classes\class.admintheme.inc.php on line 171

Thanks in advance,

Kami

IIRC CGExtensions  is a dependent of Cart ... reinstall that and you should be fine... Hope that helps...

Hello again and thanks for your help.

You'll find my system info file in the attachment. (version CMSMS 1.5.3 installed)

Can you please guide me, here's the question:

A) In site admin -> system  information : the module CGExtensions 1 .15.3 is installed. Why do I get the error message then ?

B) In Module manager under the letter C: CGExtensions 1 .16.2 incompatible.

how can I solve this ?

(To save time and energy, do you think i am better off updating to the newest CMSM version and installing again all the modules ?)

Thanks,

Kami

Also you may try to turn off some mods and see it the issues go away... I couldn't say if

ABFlashGallery
EnhancedXSPF
FLVPlayer
HitCounter
LightBox
simpletagging

anyof these are stable... never use them.... so you may start with them... HTH -J
