Mainpage no longer showing
Mainpage no longer showing
I accidently changed the standar page from "home" to another and then changed back. But when I got back to my website the mainpage is no longe showing. What could have happened?

Is your mainpage, ticked as default AND has the status Active?

I've attached a printscreen of the content of the startpage, unsure if thats what you need. I don't know if I'm using .htaccess
I can access the admin part of the site without problems and everything works there. It's when I go to the "Show webpage" that it just goes blank.

Re: Mainpage no longer showing
my next guess....
Try to clear the cache (Tøm mellomlager:) of the siteadmin:
Nettstedsadmin. » Globale innstillinger Avanserte oppsett (in norwegian)

Re: Mainpage no longer showing
I think there is something else thats wrong. I deleted all the files and clear the DB and uploaded the newer version of CMSMS and now the installation page is blank. At first I had the wrong permission set to uploads folder so I got a error message at the installation screen (that was showing at first) but when I fixed the permission and reloaded the installation page it went blank.
Re: Mainpage no longer showing
Weird errors should be replicated in XAMPP before you lose your sanity.
Re: Mainpage no longer showing
Anyone?
I've verified that other .php pages load properly. It has to be something with cmsms. As I stated earlier the installion screen do show if I have wrong permissions set saying I need to fix them before continuing with installation but when I do fix the persmissions and reload then the screen goes blank upon loading.

Re: Mainpage no longer showing
Replicate the problem on XAMPP or a second installation of CMSMS in a subfolder on your server. If you now have another problem, then start another topic on the forum, that should get the attention.
If someone has a problem with the main page, try backing up the content, and deleting the page completely, and recreating from backup.

Re: Mainpage no longer showing
As RonnyK was saying make sure there is a Green checkmark next to that page in the "Default" column when looking at the listing of Content pages.
If all else fails, use a bigger hammer.

I deleted all the files, cleared the DB and uploaded CMSMS again. When I first got to the page I got the message in the attached file. I fixed the permission for that folder, then I got the same error for the cache folder so I fixed those aswell, after that the page goes blank as you can see at www.133pehrwargentin.se
