You can not.

It is technically not possible to display plain text on the website and prevent copying of this text. JavaScript solutions are kiddy. I can deactivate JavaScript in 2 seconds in my browser. The biggest stealing however is made with special programs automatically.

The only solutions are to add the text as:
1. image
2. flash

Both solution would have negative affect on your search engine optimization and rankings.

And still... If I am able to read the text, I am also able to typewrite it.

As mentioned, the concern over this is not worth the effort, and will prove a simple annoyance to anyone wishing to view code, and slow them down by 1~2 clicks.

Put more effort into making the site better.

Forget about trying to do it. At worst, people can save a page, then go into a saved page and get what they want. Especially applies to hiding an image behind a transparent gif, disabling right click, etc
