IE6 driving me crazy [solved]

hi to all,

our hotel website is online since yesterday evening: http://www.steinmaurer.at

i have problems with layout in IE6 (what a surprise), floats are broken partly. every other browser works fine, tested FF2 + 3, opera, safari, IE7+8, google chrome.

please help, i am not so experienced fixing IE6 issues.

btw i use static stylesheets because IE6 stops loading the page at {stylesheet} tag.

I have ff3 and it is not showing right in it and you may want to fix these before worrying about ie6...

now everything is valid, but IE6 still corrupts may layout . . .

i`d appreciate your help on this issue

finally i got it:

to the un-floated elements on the left, i added "position:absolute" and "top: xx px".

perhaps it helps others with similar problem.
