Very slow page response

Hey there,

i just set up the CMSMS on my webserver to test it out..
One thing i noticed after the installation is that the page needs MUCH TOO LONG to build up.

You might test it.. http://i-taste.net/cms/ is the CMS related site (still standard content). http://i-taste.net is the static page on the same server..

I cant seem to find out why this is damn slow.

My Provider is running MySQL 4.0.x

I would love to read your suggestions..

Seeing at your site the cms tells me:



This much to slow. I had similiar problems with my old hosting company which used an external sql server. Now as I can reach my sql server with a localhost setting I have times like 0.16 seconds (tested with the beta).

Yes, my provider uses an external SQL Server.
Damn Strato, not the first time i have trouble with them - next time i'll choose another Provider :/

The Support Guy told me they got some (mysterious) trouble but he couldnt answer me what exactly kind of trouble they got - only thing he said "there could be some performance issues, dunno when it will be fixed, maybe in the next 7 days...." *SHOOTS*

But i dont think it will lead to a good performance when they fixed *it*...

Anyone else got experience with Strato PowerWeb Packages?

Since a few days I have a much better.

Just some infos for strato in german:

Min. Vertragsdauer 3 Monate
Habe nach 2 Monaten gekündigt, Vertrag sollte also mit der min. Vertragsdauer enden.
Wenn Du Domains umziehen willst geht das frühestens 60 Tage nach dem letzten Umzug dieser Domains bzw. deren Beantragung.
