1.6.3
I installed it on my Wamp server, and everything went very well.
When I installed it on-line the template/theme doesn't show up fully, and I get this appearence here, as it's explained better with an image (newbie).

The administration template/themes are working perfectly. It's just the website template/theme that giving problems.
Thanks for any help on this.

Did you get any warnings when installing, what does the system info page say, does server meet minimum requirements?...

Re: On Installatation -- Full theme doesn't show
Only problem on installation that showed up was that the memory on my server was a bit low. It was 16MB, when it should be 24MB.
But it also said the the software should run OK; that adding too many modules might be a problem; and to contact my service provider.
I actually installed it once, deleted it and reinstalled it again. The same problem showed up on both occasions.
Thanks

Do a system verification, and check the integrity of all of the files.
The CSS is there, and the layout is okay, just none of the images are there.
People, PLEASE check the integrity of your uploads BEFORE you ask questions relating to installation.
Many FTP clients are error prone. Network connections issues, and host settings can make the problem worse.
There are hundreds of posts on this forum that were resolved by making sure that
a) files were uploaded correctly.
and
b) permissions were set correctly.

Re: On Installatation -- Full theme doesn't show
I did the validation on checksum and got this, which I don't understand
1 Files Not found
Files Not found:
./', $line, 2); // split it into fields
Thanks for the help,
PS. I'm trying to get this site online for a charity

Open your FTP client and navigate to the admin/themes/NCleanGrey folder (if that's the theme you're using) on your host.
Also open the same directory in the installation package on your local machine.
Compare the number of files and file sizes that appear there.
If there is any descrepancy there, there's likely to be descepencies in other more vital files, so re-upload the directories in the install package (you don't need to re-upload the install one), overwriting all.
As others have said, your FTP client can make a huge difference to these issues. I used to use CuteFTP, but that suffers terribly from failed transfers. FileZilla (which has the added benefit of being free) is much better. I got 1 failure from 3000 transfers during my last site migration.
