Hi Everyone!
i got a problem with the tinymce - i can't get it running on one system.
I tried versions 1.6.2, 1.6.1, 1.6 and 1.5.4 of CmsMS and couldn't get it running in any of them.
Also i tried to uninstall/install tinymce and also copying the module folder again per ftp and also turning on static configuration. (these are the hints in the help section of tinymce)
Tried the same thing on another server and it worked without problems.
I think i know where the problem is, i just need a verification (or not) and/or an idea how to go on from here.
What all these installations have in common is that in step 2 of the installation wizard it says under "Test for remote URL":
fsockopen: Connection ok!
fopen: When allow url fopen is disabled you will not be able to accessing URL object like file using the ftp or http protocol.
THAT is what tinymce needs, i think ...
Could anyone please confirm this and/or tell me a workaround?
Cheers,
Michael

Re: Tiny MCE not showing
Ok, i found out that fopen is NOT the problem.
The server is from a client who told me now that he has another cmsms installation on the same server - only an older version of both ...
So, i am back at the beginning.
TinyMCE is not showing up and all the hints i can find won't help me.
Does anybody have an idea? Or do i have to provide more information so one of you guys can help?
I'm getting desperate here

[SOLVED] Re: Tiny MCE not showing
I found the solution here:
http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 631.0.html
Though i am pretty sure to have tried that before ...
I made a fresh install of CMSMS and first of all i clicked this checkbox and ... BING, it works ...
