Help wanted with Forum module [done]

I would like to get a few things working better on my forum module (I use the latest version).

At present the latest-post links on the home page dont take you to the post. Also, when you make a new post and hit submit it takes you back to the forum hoome rather than taking you to your post.

Lastly, might be slightly harder, but I would also like to setup email notifications so that when people make a post they can "subscribe to it" and receive notifications when there is a reply....

Any one got any ideas?
