missing images in admin

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

missing images in admin

Post by irish »

Hi all,

Here is a strange one. I downloaded 1.6 "New Caledonia" and built a website on my dev environment. I then uploaded and installed it on the server. The problem is that images don't display on the server environment, not even in the admin section. I used firebug to verify that the images are there, firebug displays the image as you can see from the screenshot attached. So the path to the image is fine, the image is uploaded but it still does not display. I have the same problem on the front end, no images displaying on there either.

version: 1.6 "New Caledonia"
Broswer: Firefox 3.0.11
Website: http://kenpocamp.kenpokarate.ie

Any ideas??

Did you upload it then run /install/ and NOT CREATE TABLES in the DB information page of install, iirc it's step 5, once you move a site sometimes the easiest way to fix path problems is to do an install but not create the tables...

I decided to delete everything from the server and start again. I noticed this time that even the install does not have any images on it.  ???
