I've installed the latest full version of CMSMS.
When i ran checksum, it found a lot of missing files, but when i double checked them on my server, the files were there, and they had a file size, so they seemed fine. I skipped ove the warnings, proceed with installation.
Everything went smoothly and said it was installed.
But when i go to admin it has this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: testremotefile() in \\NAWINFS02\home\users\web\b481\rh.sbfscadmin\admin\header.php on line 157
and the web site does not show up properly.

Any ideas? I am on a windows server with readyhosting.com

Re: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: testremotefile()
Note: i've also tried re-installing the whole thing from scratch, but the same exact thing happened. I searched for references to "testremotefile" to see where this function is set, and checked to see if those files are uploaded, and i belive they are...
Re: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: testremotefile()
i've tried "reuploading" the files, i am using FileZilla, they seem to be uploading fine, no errors. run checksum again and i doesn't see that they are there? So how can i resolve this?
Re: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: testremotefile()
be sure to configure Filezilla correct and be sure to overwrite all files.
If test is nor ok its not ok!

Re: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: testremotefile()
Using a windows server may be part of the problem, have you tried going into the hosting backend, like where you created the DB and using file manager, I don't know what your host gives for site management but I use cPanel and the file manager in it to upload the tar and unpack it from there, it is way quicker and insures all files make it...
No matter how you FTP those errors most always mean something didn't make it up to the site...

Re: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: testremotefile()
i'm not familiar with this host, but i don't believe they use cPanel.
when i reupload the files, i am saying "overwrite" - and i see on the remote site that it is there on the remote server.
this is my first time trying to install on the windows server.
now that i have already run through the whole install, whats the best way to find the missing files? I can't go through the admin because its not functioning properly. does that mean i need to reinstall again?
what i did the first time was delete everything i uploaded and reuploaded them again, but i dont want to keep having to do that. i just want to upload what it thinks is missing, an then do the install again??
as you can see i am a little confused. i've installed CMSMS about 4 or 5 times now, and this is the first time i ran into problems like this.
