Multiupload?

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Multiupload?

Post by Oskar Rough »

Hey,

I'm running CMSMS 1.6 and need to upload around 100 images. Now, where's the flash-uploader? Why can't I select more than one single file at a time?

Do I need a module for this?

Thanks in advance,
Oskar

Admin > Content > File Manager.
You may be able to upload a zip or tgz file and have cmsms unpack it.

Unfortunately with emphasis on may. Can't get it to work, it uploads but doesn't extract anything.

I believe you're able to upload 10 at a time actually. But you still have to select one file at a time. There's no cmd/ctrl-clicking or anything.

But thanks for the answers :)

If you need to upload 100+ files, why not FTP then?

My client can't use FTP and often it causes permission-problems with the thumbnails.

Anyone know if it's being developed or discussed somewhere? I would have thought it possible to select more than one single file in 1.6.0. but not yet.

So the question seems to be : why doesn't it extract the successfully uploaded zip/tgz ?
Have you checked for unpack features with phpinfo() ?
Is everything OK with System Info ? and System checksum ?
Does a non-CMSms unpack script work in the same environement ? What does the hosting provider say about it ?
Anything in source of page ? debug set to true ? http error log ?
