[solved] footer menu css wanted, and menu links question
looking for css that will display all the parent links in one horizontal link like:
HOME | ABOUT US | SERVICES | SOLUTIONS | NEWS & EVENTS | SUPPORT | CONTACTS
where i place the div style around the {menu} of cause
There are actually no child links on the site I am working on but someone told me I can use {menu template="youtemplatename" number_of_levels=1}. I am still too busy to make the above css.

also my cmsms menu links are like this
http://www.rightonyourdoorstep.com/inde ... ge=contact
but I want them to be like this index.php?page=contact so that I can add another domain to the same folder and the second site links keep the user on the second site.
will wait for reasonable quote for answer to my questions

just remove the base url from config.php ( $config['root_url'] = ''; )michael123 wrote: also my cmsms menu links are like this

Awesome. Thank you

Re: [solved] footer menu css wanted, and menu links question
Hi there, newbie here
I have question to ask so please be patient with me.
Whats the point of having a commercial help thread if other members are:
1. Providing a solution on the post thread for free (defeats the purpose of commercial work)
2. Wasting other members effect and time who are willing to help at a service price
I only just downloaded cmsms and figured out how to use it to my advantage in a couple of hours but knowing there is probably still a lot to learn. I am all for helping out members on technical issues but when you have a commercial help thread, my understanding is a paid service, unless I've missed something here
.
Unless your desperately seeking for help asap, which drives members to the commercial thread.
What do you think?
Thanks in advance.

Re: [solved] footer menu css wanted, and menu links question
Maybe I should not have asked questions that I know people may have a quick answer for. I myself am good with zencart and participate in their commercial help section. I have sometimes seen easy answers to easy questions, and PM'ed them for free. I felt that it was not work to post the 30 second answer, and if they want to do it themselves then they should and if not able to do it they are more likely to pick me to do it for them.
I actually made my footer with Global Content Blocks to make it perfect for the client to edit if needed. I found an answer from the link provided but it was more work than using GCB and it may have left a dash at the end of the links.

That's cool Mike. I guess we can't help it when we need some quick answers

The point of commercial help is to achieve something that:
1. You´re not capable to do;
2. You dont have time to do;
3. You need to have it done faster than you can do
4. You have a bunch of money and prefer someone to do it
But, if you ask for commercial help, be sure that you will actually hire someone, otherwise you are wasting people time.
