Now that this red X has gone, if there is no other red X, can you please rephrase shortly what works, what your issue is and how to reproduce it ?

Right now no X red in system information, Everything seems ok, but problem is not solved. Still can’t save global settings and can't add new template when pressing submit it automatically redirecting to index.php. Any solutions?

If it is very reproducible, please monitor your http error log while you trigger the issue. It almost always tells the clue.

There is a problem about saving global settings and adding a new template. But does everything else work OK ?
And are all checksums OK too now ?

No errors shown in server logs section. Yeah only global settings and adding a new template not working proper, Moreover everythink working proper! All checksums are ok, no corrupted files shown. Still same problem................

I'm getting short of ideas. It is very strange that you can't add a new template but you can, say, add a new page, all checksums being OK and nothing in the error log.
Have you tried to turn debug to true ? Error(0) means zero error with it.
Anything in the databse log ?

I had exactly the same problem.

I solved it by emailing the web hosting provider. Apparently they had turned on some security setting. No idea what it is (maybe future CMSMS releases should check for it?) and also another CMS, ModX, which I tried out of frustration also didnt work so this problem is not limited to CMSMS. But yea they turned off the setting now everything works again!

If it were a mod_security filtering rule it it would show in the http error log, wouldn't it ?
I agree it is a good idea to talk with the hosting provider to monitor the system together while triggering the reproducible very strange issue.

Not necessarily, I look at my hosting providers documentation on mod_security and there is away to block it from showing in the logs.

Thank you ajprog. It makes sense as the mod_security log could reveal too much information for entry hosting plan.
So... the hostee shall work with the hoster.
