cms_selflink in TinyMCE creating a href link ?

Hello,

we have a website that has been in development for over a year in CMSMS. The version is 1.4.1.

I integrated the content myself last summer and used the TinyMCE button for cmsms internal pages, which creates a cms_selflink smarty tag. Nothing changed on the server in the past year and, so far as everyone here can tell, no one changed anything in the files or the settings, just one new page template and some extra content.

I am now trying to create internal links, and everytime I use the TinyMCE button, this is what I get as a result, when I look at the html source:

instead of the cms_selflink.

Can anytone please tell me where I can fix this ?

There is an option in the TinyMCE module admin to select whether you want it to make cms_selflink or a href.
