Upgrading from 1.0.2 to 1.6.0

I've had a very low-key site kicking around for a few years, but now want to use new features etc, so I want to upgrade my installation from 1.0.2 to 1.6. Documentation for upgrading is pretty clear, but is there anything special/in particular I need to consider?

I just upgraded one site from 1.08 . I upgraded first to 1.5 and then to 1.6 and it worked fine.

You can also backup properly http://mkrd.info/software-discussions/cms-made-simple/backin-up-and-restoring-cmsms.html, and then uninstall old site, and install new version.
