Multiple Instance for CGCalendar

Hello,
I need to set-up different types of events for CGCalendar, each of them with dedicated user defined fields. I have a rough idea of what I could  do to solve this problem (for instance use category as a selector, with at least a lot of reworking on the templates to select the right fields with the right labels, etc... or mimic the complete module and "multi-install" it, or ..).
Did someone worked on same or close topic ? Thanks for your help.
