[Solved] Permissions Errors

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[Solved] Permissions Errors

Post by lflaxman »

Hello,

Please help! My site has been working fine, and now all of the sudden, I am getting:

Warning: fopen(/home/paraexpl/public_html/tmp/cache/contentcache.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/paraexpl/public_html/lib/classes/class.contentoperations.inc.php on line 556

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/paraexpl/public_html/lib/classes/class.contentoperations.inc.php on line 557

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/paraexpl/public_html/lib/classes/class.contentoperations.inc.php on line 558

I get this in both the site, as well as the admin system.

I've checked permissions, and don't see anything out of the ordinary - but, I might not be seeing it.

Please help!

Thanks!
Larry

Hi there, I am having exactly this problem  :'(, can you help.  When you say you cleared the cache, can you clarify?  I assume you dont mean you simply cleared your web browsers cachce, but some CMS cache???  I dont know how to do this  ???, can you help please.

Thanks.

OK, ignore me, I worked it out.  Just to make it easier for others that visit this post and are as inexperienced as me....

From the menu bar along the top of the page select "Site Admin", and from the drop down select "Global Settings", this brings up a new page, and at the top of this page is a clear cache button, push it and hey presto!
