ask the hoster if they did change something?
did you check the system information in the admin area? Some information there?

Hello,
I understand you have posted in a hurry but please understand we can't diagnose without enough information. As Connie says the System Info helps a lot. You can also monitor your http error log while you trigger the reproducible issue. It almost always diagnose such issues.
You can also write some out-of-CMSms PHP script that writes to the database with same db credentials to check that the issue is CMSms specific and not hosting related.
