[Solved] Strange problem with your website top right Language bar

Post by replytomk3 »

Can I have this confirmed by someone? In Firefox, clicking on one of the flag images is nearly impossible because only the top border of the image is the link, while the rest of the little icon is not. This does not happen on the forum pages above, and only on the main site.

Its fine here for me too. On FF3.0.11 on win.

I see on your sceenshots you using big text for viewing the site. I see this since the tabs is not in place and its line breaks in the menu.
How did you change this? Fixed minimum font size?

I am not particularly excited about loosing my eyesight, so my monitor is at 120dpi and I have several zoom add-ons installed (currently disabled for testing). This is windoza XP, and I tested on two computers (120 dpi both, one 1024x768, one 1680x1050). However, on a Vista laptop it works fine. So, strangely, it is a problem but not with most users (this is the only place I have noticed this)

Yeah  I know the problem with realy big text sizes.
The only scenario I have seen this behavor is when minimum text size is set realy big.
AFAIK we tested this and found its not easy to fix it. But we found that at least the zoom functions in the browsers are working (even if the template is not perfect if a big fixed minimum font size is used).

OK. Since I have not seen this problem anywhere else, and you said you tested this, can you please leave a technical description of why this happens just for future reference? Thanks for testing this out.

Generaly problem is with absolutely positioned divs that get overlapping if you reach a certain fixed text size.
I have edited the css again with some narrower div margins to see if this minimize the problem.
