I am currently working on a site and need a shopping cart. However, I have an interim cart I will be using until I get the shop modules for CMS Made Simple working to my liking.
Is it possible to call the {menu} module into my navigation on the third party cart? I know I can add the menu manually statically but wondered if I could have it embedded so that any changes on CMS Made Simple are reflective on the shopping cart.
Thanks,
James.
Use {menu} on a none CMS Made Simple Page
Re: Use {menu} on a none CMS Made Simple Page
I don't know your site layout and what shopping cart you are currently using and the shop layout but i believe you could realise this using an iframe (with the {embed}-tag - see tag help for more info).
That means you don't integrate the menu into the shopping cart but integrate the shopping cart into your site.
So create a page of type content and call the {embed}-tag in the content area.
Not sure if this will be a solution but hope it helps to find more ideas.
