In the news modules, if the number="5" was setted, then the 6th will not display. Does there any method to show ? eg,

At the moment as far as I know there is no method.

when 0.12 comes out, there is a new option for the news module, the "start" tag. so you could do a second tag with:
{cms_module module=news category=blah start=5}
{cms_module module=news category=blah start=5}
