Changing URL from "/?page=content_types" to "/content_types"

Hi Friends,

I am facing a problem with URL

After installation My URL look like this "rootfolder/?page=content_types" after some modification changed to "rootfolder/content_types"
it is better than previous one, but it is not working.

It gives 404(Not found) error

I am new to this CMS Made Simple.
Any one please help me..
