summary page and in depth menus

Hi all,

Here's what I'd like to achieve:

lets say a site has three levels - parent page > child page >> child of child page (multiple)

I'm wondering if I can have an overview of all level 3 pages on a level 2 page - just like you would have in a submenu but with more detail like further page info.

I imagine this is just a specific type of menu where the menu displays the page name and also some further page info before a read more link.  It'd be very similar to the news summary. 

I looked at the menu documentation but can't see what I need.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'd look to the wiki for site map, or search for "menu sitemap” there is a version somewhere here that does what you’re talking about... Hope that helps some...

Thanks Jeremy.

I've had a look for site map documentation on this but can't find any info.  Its only one section of the site that I'm trying to implement this on so sitemap may not be ideal.

Does anyone know of a menu that allows a small page summary as well as the menu link?

This is not a menu issue it is a pull other page content into this page issue which is discussed in the forum in a few places...
