Cannot Change Text Color - A Bug?

When I highlight text and select a color change using the WYSIWYG editor the color change is reflected in the preview window. But when I apply those changes my text remains the default black. The actual "font color" code seems not to be incorporated in the published page source.

Anyone else experience / duplicate this?
