News summary disappears when submitting news

Hello,

I'm on version 1.5.3 and News version 2.9.3 The site I have this problem with is www.uisge-beatha.eu

I noticed that the summary sometime disappears when I submit news. Before submitting I entered a summary and the news block itself, press submit and when I checked the first page of my site, the summary is gone. This does not happen all the time.

Any ideas or suggestion what may cause the problem?

is that with news with status 'draft' by any chance.... As there has been a report on issues with News-entries as a draft, which has been fixed in SVN. That will be released with the upcoming 1.6.

Thanks Ronny for your quick reply.

I noticed that it happend with saving as a draft, however when you make a new news item one can only submit it. Than it sometimes happens too.
