Company Directory Questions

Hi All,

I have a few questions about company directory. I am trying to create something similar to the vbulletin business directory addon using company directory but am a little unsure about it.

1. Is there a way to automate this so that users can submit their own company details and logo to the directory and then it is either automatically added to the database or it is placed in a waiting to be approved status?
2. How would you go about implementing that? is there another module i would need to use?
3. If the business was added to the directory automatically, is there a way to create a login for the user so that they can automatically edit their own listing?
3. Is there a way to assign a icon to a category?

Or is there a better alternative to Company Directory?

I would appreciate any advice that anyone can suggest. I don't really have much php programming experience but I need to get this done for my client.

Hi Tom,

I have a website like this now where I want frontend users to be able to able to submit their own companies to the directory and was wondering did you ever get this problem sorted or does anyone else have the answer to these questions. Thanks
