Group permissions not available for self registration module

I just tried to give a few new users permissions to admin the self registration module, but there were no permissions listed in Group Permissions that I could give them (at all):

CMSMS - 1.52
FrontEndUsers - 1.6.2
SelfRegistration - 1.2.2
CustomContent - 1.5.2
Current PHP Version - 5.1.
Server Database - PostgreSQL
Server Database Version - 8.1.11

The only thing even remotely like it is:

Manage Registering Users

But when I gave them that permission, they still did not have access to the Self Registration module.

Any ideas?

Basically this sis for people to self register for the ability to post jobs to a particular site. 

The process works like a charm from the users side, but I just can't get anyone able to admin the process (push people through, delete old users who didn't confirm, etc) but me.

[Hacking module to work with postgres, as that seems to be source of problems - will post as solved if hack works]
